Annual Buddhist Peace Camp (link)
This is a yearly outdoor family camp organized by the Ann Arbor Zen Buddhist Temple. Campers are immersed in sangha life for six days as they experience the Buddha’s teachings in an outdoor setting. Activities emphasize fun, mindfulness, cooperation, and appreciation for animals and plants. The camp takes place at the Friend’s Lake Community near Chelsea, Michigan (about 20 miles from Ann Arbor), at the end of July or early August.
